Project Information Meetings

On February 20, 2014 the Alberta Utilities Commission approved the Bull Creek Wind Project approximately 20 km northeast of Provost, AB. Since the approval, BluEarth Renewables Inc. has been reviewing the project design to enable us to move forward with construction.

Revisions to the design being considered include:

  • Reducing the number of turbines from up to 46 to up to 17 sited at locations already authorized in the existing AUC approval
  • Interconnecting the wind project to the distribution system instead of the transmission system, eliminating the need for a dedicated substation
  • Changing the wind turbine model

BluEarth is committed to an ongoing dialog with our project stakeholders and will be holding project information meetings to update and consult with the community on changes being considered.
